This was bad, awful even, I thought it would be the deep depressing kind of story but nope.
Rape is used as a writing tool, half the characters either raped, tried to rape or get raped at some point in the story, there is no gut wrenching trauma that leaves you feeling awful for the characters, hell, it was used as a comedic bit in the side stories.
None of the characters are likeable, they're dislikable at best and hateable at worst. I thought I was gonna like the beta but nope! He had to be a traitor too. Even the omega, I can't feel bad for him because he keeps making bad decisions and saying everything is his fault even though he's the victim, and he's not saying it's his fault because of a huge misunderstanding or a complicated situation, no he says it just because, even though anyone in their right mind would know he had nothing to do with it.
The class is awful, the seme is awful, the uke is dislikeable, the brother came out of left field and is awful. This whole story felt like it was trying to be depressing but because of how unrealistic it is it just left me feeling angry. There are real experiences like being abused by a family member you're supposed to trust, the pains of being pregnant/aborting a child when you yourself are a child, being raped and your rapist guiltripping you into not confessing/keeping the child, sadly many people go through these terrible experiences, but this didn't feel like a way to tell their stories and show how they felt and how they dealt with life afterwards, it was literally used as a tool to break up the two main characters as children and nothing more.
I feel like even a teenager would do a better job writing this... art was fine though
