i think this is before he ever met the modern hosik. he says that he has memories of his former life, where he met and loved hosik. hes depressed and wishes to die because his lover is no longer there, even specialist told him hes missing his lover that never existed in his life. SO IN SUMMARY, he has memories from his former life and already technically knew Hosik

I think that before sunbae met hosik he has an illness which is i think depression because of his past life where sunbae is a master and hosik was his servant they were together and it was shown in one of the chapter how hosik's died of some kind of illness in their past lives which result to the sunbae in the present to remember his past lives in his dreams and having depression because of what happen to hosik's in their past lives. So now i am crying hope this helps ╥﹏╥

This is second reincarnation, after the first special. In this reincarnation, on world war era (from what I see) seme apparently still remember Hosik and their past life which Hosik die from illness. Seme miss Hosik so much but he already die long ago but Hosik also reincarnated as student (from spoiler if I not wrong) but seme didn't know. Rn seme is in depression from heartbreak of losing Hosik even though it from his past life.
