at first i thought it was gonna be regular confinement yandere-ism with some beating up (which i disliked) & i was fine w them ending up together.
then ch21-23 happened & i dropped this spiritually. i will ofc finish this, bcs the art style is nice & the leads are handsome; so if i just imagine that they're actors, i'll be fine
i was confused abt the title tho — like is MC supposed to get revenge for what ML is putting him thru currently?? or does ML have history with MC (yeah, apparently.)?
if it's truly what that one spoiler said further down, then there was no hope for them even in my regular yandere version

in general:
1st story's art was rlly stiff & rigid imo, it def got way better during szn 3 (tho hella drastic). i liked seeing couple 1 in the new style at the end. i did also not like the uke in the first story, but what's new. scared to try the author's other story cause the characters they write are.... so far we have: 2 moralless mcs, 1 stoic guy & 1 guy w no backbone. & they all only communicate towards the end & we barely get chapters of them actually just existing as normal couples the helly
everyone seems to think its a sasaeng so ig i was the only one who thought it was Taegu wanting to check up on him at the end there
& mls adoptive brother totes jumped off the balcony as his last way of getting at him, cause he knew everyone would blame ml
this is like my 5th time rereading cause i keep forgetting the beninging & i'm only now put off by how pushy she was at first i get an ick whenever male characters pull the same "do this w me so u can overcome ur fear of this!!" move, but for some reason it took me 2 yrs to realize it here. maybe cause i wasn't taking it as seriously? honestly didn't think it'd still be running.
the ml changed faces like 3 times but i liked the evolution & am happy where we are now. i did wonder at first if someone uploaded the wrong manga ch tho ☠ p sure when the cover w his brothers came up, could not recognize him.
i dunno if i like the fl now tho. i like how they kept her tall, most fls don't look tall to me but she looks like she'd be at least 1.65cm (which ik is avrg to most but i'm 15cm below that & as i said, most fls are drawn w shorter proportions but their profiles will still have 1.60 in there??).
she's obv still pretty w the new style but i liked her cuteness more in the first 2/3 :/ like it wasn't too in ur face, but it was there. now she looks demure & that's fine, but they both look a bit more generic kinda? the style way in the beginning was def more recognizable in the wild (tho i can't remember titles for shit so it's not like recognizing matters eh).
& i wish we'd get some extras of Hasumi & ms. whose name i forgot. i also wish mangakas & artists would draw mls naked. thanky
dude... i left this to marinate back when szn 2 came out (as i was dropping out of HS myself [proud]) cause i had some srs misconceptions abt what Ri-In was gonna turn out like (+ the new jaws of the characters were bothering me) but oh. my. god. thank god i waited. (tho i did wait too long cause i don't remember what Skylar's backstoy was & why readers wanted to see some Minwoo dude back.) she was a normal girl, i liked her; i hope she ended up reconciling w Cirrus, tho i understand if it takes her a few yrs ☠ the best friend thing Chan-Il said to Cirrus made me sob. Cirrus smooching Candy made me sob. did not expect Skylar to punch a dude.
& yeah the art is inconsistent, but it stays consistent within each season & that's fine w me, esp since szn 3 is my fav (not that i remember szn 1 well). i can understand why the author didn't see a need for extras & paired w the hiatus notice a bit earlier cause they had hand tremors & numbness? psh, yeah dude, take a year off & rest — i would ☠ this is peak. shounen ai peak.

he was so sussy in the beninging or was that just me?? asking a bunch of Qs, popping up out of nowhere, going silent when the trip was mentioned & it being *overnight*... totes thought it was a yandere setup, but those are usually teased by drawing the character somewhat deranged — this guy just looked normal, so i was unnerved would've been v unexpected
gonna be honest — my eyes are just flying over the dialogue cause they cuss too much but im also scared cause i dont remember the previous works of the author, but ppl are talking abt them as if they're sad (as if the art style isn't enough of a hint but i cant stay away) aaaah must marinate so i can just skip thru for my own wellbeing
i don't have a word for it & its bothering me, but the way she acts pisses me off (til ch32 atm) & i forgot that that's why i planned on marinating this til it's finished.
the art is insanely good (& why i bother with reading), but her character archetype (that i rarely see in media, now that i think abt it) is one i just can't stand T-T

the art is so sketchy but still finished-looking, the characters also look fluffy w/o losing their handsomeness — very nice ^~^
