that seems so out of nowhere? he seemed so indifferent towards her. unless its a bit later down the story? but i still think it would've made more sense for E-name Gingerhair-man to do what the knight allegedly does; he could also be messed up in the head (like his sister) & rationalize his actions that way, his expressions in some panels do make him look a bit unhinged

stopping mid-binge at ch32 to say that, despite being 32 chapters in, the children's characters are barely developed. ian is like an afterthought; the duke just happened to send a letter, right as we were discussing the other children's futures. ig it's very simple writing & bad pacing.

i expected this to be more serious, given that the ML litch betrayed & killed half of a village(?), including FL's PARENTS, but it's just... not. why would she put off killing him until the ball, she said she was in that palace for months. if he was dropped as a baby, how does he know his "task" was to betray the lower lvl ppl? was it correspondence with the guards who came down from time to time? the dream sequence also confused me, did he have sex with some random lady irl, when he was still stuck down below, but FL was swapped in while he was dreaming abt it??
only thing this abomination of a story did better than remarried empress is speeding the plot up. art feels wasted on the story itself... titty is just trashta with less screen time, villain is there ig, fl is spineless (why is she just quiet whenever titty was being icky??). sped thru this in 1.5hrs & only felt happy once i saw ml's BACK MUSCLES
