I understand that mc was hyperventilating and needed first aids a. k. a. mouth-to-mouth. However, some spoilers are giving me the eek, I want them both reunted and happy.
This is my theory:
Mc will get pulled by 3rd person to kill the CEO, but the one who will do it will be the ml; as he is the sacrificing type. Ml will try to push mc away but regret it once mc really tends to move on. Mc's family will come with news about the father's terminal illness, where they will have a touching story about how the father wanted to protect his son from the bully who molested him (the ml blames himself in high school). His entire family gets involved and the climax happens and at the end ml ghosted mc again because he feels guilty and a decade passes and they meet again. And now, they decide to start a realation as middle-age men. END.
