It can’t be his fault. He’s been under her for all his life. I don’t even know how old he is like 8? She has manipulated him so much he doesn’t know what being his own person is. And when he gets a glimpse of individuality, his mom’s manipulative mindset get back in his head and he gaslights himself. What we are seeing in the last chapter is him gaslighting himself and making himself feel guilty. The real victims here are him and his family bruh, that woman is crazy. No???? Are you trolling? This is a story of child abuse through the child’s eyes. Being manipulated and gaslit all his life and almost killed by his parent.. how could that ever be the child’s fault? His brain is trying to process the trauma and he is so confused that he is blaming himself, that is what we are seeing now. It’s messed up and confusing but very accurate to what people with c-ptsd experience.
