I think that if he was to actually say, I can fuck who I want but you can’t to her I’d really start getting annoyed, but since it’s more been, I want you to get mad at me for doing it - just the fact that he’s not being a complete hypocrite- he seems like he would stop once she starts caring.....

I don’t know, it’s still a little off but it suits his character that since they aren’t actually together he’s still sleeping around, and it stops us from pitying him because she hasn’t gotten with him yet, since he hasn’t been trying particularly hard.
