I feel bad for the kiddie gf because she's being terribly taken advantage of by an older man. For her body and her money. It's easy to fall into a terrible relationship like she did when the man has so much more experience than you do and love bombs you the way Taeha did.

But she's not poor. She's not struggling to make money. She's spending her father's money on a man she's met... What 2-3 months ago? She's let this man move into her house, let's him dictate her actions, doesn't try to see the reality as it's happening to her by white knighting Taeha...

She's a victim. But she's also at fault for not being cautious of an older man with a shady past. Taeha is a walking disaster waiting to happen to her. And she somewhat knows. And keeps ignoring the hints he sometimes - even deliberately - sends her way. Like stopping her from going to their house in the early days.

Im hoping someway she cuts her losses here and tosses out that asshole. But the way this story is going im afraid she'll headed towards a tragedy... On her way to be a cautionary tale.

And also, dont label me a MISOGYNISTIC just because I don't feel bad. First of all, shes fictional. Second of all, in ch16, she was already doubting him but chose to ignore it. Haesoo is introduced as family, not relative. When haesoo finds out about the cheating in ch.18, she said that they've lived togther for 13 years but the gf simply says whats going on and that shes leaving. The its revealed they were married and then divorced but still living together. You're telling me that i should feel bad for her when the GF literally chooses to be with mincheol EVEN after she finds out his relationship with haesoo. Because clearly in ch. 21 when mincheol tells her everything, she still chooses to be with him. So no, I dont feel bad. She chose to be with him despite knowing the truth afterwards.

She's still 23 the frontal lobe hasn't yet develop fully, I always feel bad for younger women getting with way older men who's toxic. I know these girls are annoying, but they're still young and I do feel bad. And the author, if she really wanted to write realistically, i hope that she get hepl too, not just used as npc to make the "old fl is better bc look at this pathetic bitch young girl" like

There’s still some level of accountability here because she does know he’s not the best person, she even says so when he came back begging for her. also in that chapter you’re talking about, ahri is clearly distraught and was ready to drink a bunch of alcohol after breaking up with mincheol. read that scene again and listen to how mincheol words things. he guilt trips ahri by putting himself down, making him seem humble and like someone who’s just in an unfortunate, uncontrollable situation. he makes it clear he doesn’t have feelings for haesoo and goes as far as to “promise” to get out of ahri’s life forever, as he points out how young she is and how she can find better. ahri, distraught but still in love with him, sees this as an opportunity to “rescue” him and also prove him wrong. at the end when ahri forgives him, he’s smirking, happy he easily tricked her. her only fault was being genuine and believing in him.

yeah but the reasons people are mad at her for aren’t even about mincheol being a bad bf anymore, they simply hate her because they think she shouldve “known better” when mincheol was the one who built their relationship on lies. do i want her to stand tf up and leave his ass? ofc i do. do i understand that she’s young and reckless but still needs to look out for herself and the people shes affecting, yes but i still feel bad for her.

There's a difference between calling out someone’s behavior as apathetic and labeling it misogyny. Criticizing her actions and holding her accountable doesn’t mean we’re attacking her for being a woman—it’s about acknowledging that, as an adult, she also plays a role in her decisions. No one is saying she’s entirely to blame, but we don’t have to just automatically feel sorry for someone when they make choices that contribute to their situation.

Okay, I get what you’re saying. Both Ahri and the fl are in the same boat! They both fell for Mincheol and had/is putting up with his lies because he’s their first love! And he is/had taken advantage of their love for him to get what he wants! He may had genuine feelings for the fl at one point but he quickly started acting selfish after a period of time! Ahri should be seen as unfortunate because she, as Mincheol also pointed out, is innocent and naive! She obviously had no prior relationships before Mincheol so we should ease up on her and hopes she takes this lesson and learn from it and stay away from guys like Mincheol!
