Some of ya'll got to go back and read season 1 so you can get a better insight of Taewhan. And I'm not talking about starting at chapter 47. I mean read the whole thing. And to those comparing this to BJ Alex, Jiwon was such a bigger asshole to DG. He had no feelings whatsoever. Until like chapter 55 and he does a weird 180. Here in Banana Scandal, Taewhan is an asshole. But we know he has feelings AND a soft side. We have gotten to see behind his mask. How?
1: Invited Dojin to his parents house for a holiday weekend (and how Taehee first met Dojin)
2: Sided with Dojin in the whole Sangjin controversy (chapter 48), because they all knew S was an asshole. Thats how they became friends. And Taewhan began to trust Dojin because of how Dojin reacted to Sangjin.
3: Taewhan helped Taehee GET RID of Sangjin. Taehee turned to his brother for help and Taewhan was able to get stuff on him so Taehee could push him off of campus.
4: Taewhan loves his brother! (Enough to share a bed!) He's so protective of his brother! He helped Taehee get into school, gave him a roof over his head, and was upset when he wasn't told about him and Dojin!
5: Dojin FUCKING HITS HIM WITH A BOOK. Granted, only Dojin has the guts to do it. But after Dojin hits him and starts crying, Taewhan gets worried about him. He also recognizes Taehee's love for Dojin when he comes in.
In season 2, we learn that Taewhan felt a special attachment to Yeonwu. That he cherished the moments that they spent in that study room. We know that they were close. But Yeonwu did the #1 thing that Taewhan hates- TOUCH HIM IN HIS SLEEP! (as said in the TMI blurbs at the end of chapter 90. Like...Did no one pay attention to that, Dolsha gave us a huge insight on Taewhan!). Not only did Yeonwu touch Taewhan, HE KISSED HIM. That created a huge fallout. Yeonwu was going to let it go, but opportunity to FUCK HIS FIRST LOVE came and who would turn that down? ITS FUCKING TAEWHAN WOO! This whole thing is in Yeonwu's hands as much as it is Taewhan's. (And now we're learning that Taewhan doesn't want to let Yeonwu go again.) This is such a good story, it’s not just about the smut.

bruh YEAH when i read the sudden "omg im in love with dg" in bj alex i was like WHERE did that suddenly come from hahahah, him being suddenly really sweet and soft to dg was also so sudden and i just couldn't see all of that happening so fast w/o much of a sign of feelings other than petty jealousy when they were still having sex. like jiwon really didn't see dg as human,,, ever,,, and was such a shithead to him even tho dg had never done anything bad to jiwon.
on the other hand taehwan has an established past with yeonwoo, was betrayed by someone he trusted (which is really painful and can cause intense hatred/dislike just because of how violated and betrayed he felt)
I don't even think he's that toxic. He still is, but definitely not as toxic as some of other characters from the other popular webtoons.
oops sent w/o finishing: and despite his justified hatred for yeonwoo he still ends up showing his feelings for yeonwoo through his actions (though his thoughts are super,,, in denial). he also has seen yeonwoo as human (and even as a good person) back in high school so it's not as sudden or weird that he's catching feelings now
yeah he's not that toxic lol, he just need to understand his feeling towards yeonwoo. he's a well written character

Man, Dolsha gave us a huge insight to Taewhan with those cute information blurbs. He hates fake relationships and hates being touched in his sleep-something Yeonwu did! Which skewed his perspective on Yeonwu’s intentions. No wonder they had such a bad falling out!! Also, he would cuddle and sleep with Taehee when he was younger until he got too big. Meaning he loves Taehee and when he feels safe and secure, he trusts and loves deeply.

STOP TRANSLATING THIS WEBTOON!! Mangago is ONLY 2 chapters behind. Thats just 2 weeks! So....STOP TRANSLATING THIS WEBTOON!! It does not need to be translated and if it takes you 4 days to translate it and get it ready- it really isn't saving anyone time than if you just uploaded the official chapters. It really isn't any faster. AND It would solve the whole issue of the uploader needing to upload the official site chapters and thus giving people false notifications. Just DROP THIS WEBTOON and translate something that isn't licensed for an official translation. Once something gets an official translation on an official site, it makes more sense to STOP TRANSLATING and waiting for it to catch up and then posting the official chapters.
Completely agree. Thanks to this new "fashion", there are tons of bad translated horribly quality projects now that have official translations but nobody wants to upload because they don't want to receive hate. So waste your time translating something that has no translation at all.

Yes. I believe it got an official translation around chapter 25-30ish. But if we stopped translating it when it was dropped, we would have caught up by now and would be able to upload the official translations. There are reasons why the translators drop works, especially when the official translation comes out. And this is one of them. But since it kept being picked up by translators, and not very good ones, we're ahead by 20 chapters when we don't need to be. Would make the story a lot more cohesive.
I really don't think I can follow. What do the official translators have to do with the scanlators? Are you saying that people who are being paid for translating the manwha for tappytoon stopped doing their work because they were angry that scanlators are still doing scanlations?

No. If this stopped being translated by fans when it was first dropped on mangago, We could be uploading the official translations with high quality images by now. instead of reading poor fan translations.

-I thought it was decided that no one was to keep translating, because we were waiting for tappy to catch up.
-If we waited for tappy to catch up, we could be posting their official translated chapters instead.
-Because we didn't wait, we are ahead by 20 weeks with shit, confusing translations. We could be reading beautiful tappy translations by now.
I understand that no one wants to wait for really good stories. But with complex vocabulary in this story, its best to get the translations from tappy. Its stealing either way, so I don't get why we can't we can't wait for tappy.

Exactly. This isn’t the only webtoon this happened on either. If we just wait for the official sites to catch up, we could use their chapter instead. If I’m illegally reading something that has an official English translation, I’d rather read that than read chapters that have been translated from Spanish or through google translate.
