Aren't Patrizia's aware of how the emperor was emotionally manipulated by Rosebitch? I mean Patrizia already knew why the emperor was so adamant in keeping Rosebitch alive during their talk after he was awake from coma when the investigation for the first attempted assassination was still running, or was that after? Anyways she knew about the emperor's dependency towards Rosebitch before the bitch died lol
Hence why she only regarded Rosebitch as the enemy, because she's the only one scheming and provoking against the MC(while the emperor was just like a sitting duck lmao, he did almost nothing).
The emperor was useless, dumb and pitiful. But he also did some reflection(otherwise he would've still be under Rosebitch's influence) and improved himself somewhat. I cried when I read his backstory(it's especially rare for me to cry for some fictional characters in a novel lol) but he's truly pitiful I can't help but feel for the dude's longing for real affection （/TДT)/
Err anyway, I'm sure this also applies to the first timeline too lol, although I can't 100% guarantee that Patrizia knew that the emperor in the first timeline was also emotionally manipulated or not. Regardless, the dude did try to change for the better, and his effort should at least be recognized. Even Petronille encouraged her sister to be more open to love, so that-- and the unexpected pregnancy is what make Patrizia to be more accepting towards the emperor me thinks.
