So basically from this chapter, we learned that Dowun feels the mc slipping away again, and the father and him are now against each other but have the same goals. However, the difference is that Dowun does not want the mc to die while the father wants the other girl to be Queen. I am guessing the reason why the father wants her to be queen is bc she is easier to control than the mc since he is weary of the mc and his son.
Another thing we learned (or KNEW) is that Dowun does look down on his brother.

Dowun probably let the brother go because he saw that at the time, he wouldn’t be able to survive in the palace. So he let him go for his saftey... at least that’s what i HOPE!! Bc if he legit just abandoned him bc he looks down on him then fuck him. The main reason why i detest him is because of that incident and he always treating the people who loves him like tools. However if my theory is right, i will be alr with him since i would understand his decision, but still, why he didn’t even comfort the bro. Why he gotta do him like that. BRUH why he so mean I just wanna know if he loves the bro or not. I want his point of view. What do you all think?

I just wish he said “yes because he is married and you want to destroy that relationship to make him yours, which makes you an ugly, selfish, and disgusting person to want to inflict harm on the people in the relationship just to get what you want.” But oh well, this is satisfying enough~
How in the world did they become so deeply in love with each other tho? Like their personalities certainly do match, but the thing is, they BARELY spent enough time together to fall that deeply in love so quick . So this feels forced yet natural. Weird feeling.
I think the question applies only on Aseph, since it's him that never spent enough time with her to fall in love so deeply. Zay's loved him for a long time, her feelings are the reason why she was able to enter the novel in the first place.

Well apparently as what the others are saying above zay carries BOTH of the marks (zay+aseph)

I thought after she decided to not try to go back to her old life, she decided to become a filial daughter and live out her best new life as well as possible? Wouldn't that include being the perfect child to give thanks to her parents in this new world. I feel like to her acting as the cutest child is her goal and therefore she is doing it to merge into her new life. Doesn't seem crazy to me but idk, it's how I thought she was doing it.

I'm 44 if I had the chance to relive my childhood with the memories of my past I would embrace it completely and act the same way she is right now (like a child) since my childhood wasn't that good.

it looks like they forgave them for everything and is now just going the flow~ all happily like they did not suffer from the negligence of their “family”. Dropped, this was so disappointing...
