I’m starting to really not want to read this anymore. The next like 5 or 10 chapters will decide if i wanna still be here or not. yeaah bc like i liked how he treated her and made sure that she was okay. Other than the fact he was planning on using her to drive away attention so that his sister won’t be found out as another man’s baby, and the fact that he said “i have NO NEED FOR A BASTARD CHILD” like wtf u the one who fkin came in here wtf that’s supposed to mean???, he’s a good man. Like personally from what I’ve seen in the story, he didn’t mean any of it. I’m not saying ‘he didn’t mean to’, I’m saying like he literally didn’t mean anything of what he said or intended.
Like when he said he just wanted to “use” the mc to divert attention from his sister, it was a lie. In reality he was addicted to the first time they fked and wanted an excuse to be with her again. Especially since he always had a crush on her, that never left him. Then, he made sure to protect her from any harm from his sister and anybody who gossiped about it. And when he said he didn’t want a bastard child, I understood his pov when he had that flashback, but again like wtf you are the one that GAVE HER YOUR SEED what you think was going to happen??? So i actually was disliking him after that, but then once he found out that she was pregnant, he got happy and wanted to straight take responsibility. So that made me like him again bc his initial response wasn’t disgust or scared or anything. Like he didn’t he wasn’t at all concerned that the child would be a “bastard” child. I guess it was just the thought of the hardship the bastard child would go through that scared him.
Another thing that made me like him was when he decided he would marry her despite her unknown origin so that her and her baby would live a comforting life. He went up to his father, who had high expectations of him, and told him that he is in love with his servant girl, she is pregnant with his child, and all. The fact that the father was happy with that, accepted that, and even encouraged it was surprising too. Like he’s actually a cool dude too.
My favorite thing was that after finding her, when he saw how happy she was living independently with her unborn baby, he respected her happiness and left her alone. Like he put her feelings over his which is very rare with mls of these kind of plots. Despite how much he was suffering from missing her so much, he never bothered to disrupt her happiness. When he found out his sister tried to kill her and her unborn baby, he sent that demon out the fkin country.
So yeah in I really like this ml. Like i think he’s a very cool genuine dude. I literally have no problems with him. To me, the only thing he has to make up is clearing the misunderstanding that it was his sister, not him who tried to kill her and her baby, and what he said to her about not wanting a bastard child.
