Like this is bad in the sense that it's good story telling about a bad story. Like it's so good at narrative of abusive, obsession, victimization and a smidge of trauma bonding and maybe even borderline possession. I love when authors can tell a story about dark themes without making it a joke, this shit takes the realness of being stuck in a vicious cycle you can't get out of.
One dude is "polyamorous" in the sense that he wants to receive love while pushing his partners to the edge to see if the still love him
Another one is a stalker with obsession and possessive tendencies
The other one has a savior complex, trying to help his friend/boyfriend while he himself needs it even more for staying with him while actively being abused. His excuse? I love him, and I feel pity for him being alone
I love authors that can genuinely show how troubled a character is with so little information about them. It makes it feel like you are meeting the character for real and seeing their lives through a tv. Sure these are heavy topics but the author is portraying them correctly and how a person would act in that situation.

Since both girls were born the same day, and brought at the same time to the orphanage could fly be the dukes legitimate daughter. The possibility is still there it's like 50% maybe one was the daughter of a maid and they got swapped to protect the legitimate daughter? (Which in the end ended up working, if shes the true daughter.) It's still speculation and very far fetched but still could be possible

For me the fl lead is a hit or miss, why can't she just tell him why she did all of those things instead of letting him think she loves another man. Maybe there's a thing keeping her from saying stuff trope or something but at that point just try to tell him it's not how he thinks I feel bad for him, he's suffered enough
This is one I've been waiting on for so long Its so good one of the best BDSM stories out there right amount of story, spice and fun
