I highly enjoyed this story, but Aoki deserved to be with someone else, not like Tengoku. But I’m the end, they’re happy, yay?

Gosh, the Seme is so freaking pushy and just irks me. I really don’t want them to end up together. I want another seme to swoop in and treat the uke with so much love and affection.
Yeah but in his defense if he isn't a little pushy then Kurisu will never come around. He's one of those "I'd rather put everyone else before me and keep to myself" types. If you leave them be or act too slow you'll never get them to accept that their happiness is important, too. Honestly, Kurisu gets on my nerves more than Niina does. Kurisu is so far up his own ass about taking care of others before himself that it's annoying. Yeah, his daughter is important and he wants to do right by his mom--but he's literally placing the blame for not ever being in a relationship on them. It might seem like he's being a model "father/son" but he's just being selfish in wanting to maintain that image. He can be happy with a same sex partner and even if his mom might not be OK with it I feel like if he talked to his daughter about it when she was old enough to understand that she would want him to be happy with someone he loves.
Niina has already accepted the interview (pictures included) and went out of his way to bake a cake for Kurisu's daughter-- even if it was part of his apology for forcefully kissing him earlier. In just the short time they have been acquainted Niina has already done two major favors for Kurisu. The only thing he wants in return is for Kurisu to open up and accept the part of him that deserves happiness.
I understand where you’re coming from. For Kurisu, he wants to be accepted. He feels if he comes out to his mom, she’ll reject him for coming out - or disown him. And also, he wants his daughter, to have a normal life. I.e A mom & dad - even though they’re divorced. Not 2 dads’. I understands he need to start putting himself first, but it’s also the low self esteem, fear of rejection from his mom and daughter (when she gets older) and also shame he might bring them, for being gay. What Niina did for him was very nice - baking the cake for Kurisu daughter. But Niina, continuously forcing himself on Kurisu in order for Kurisu to open up to him is not okay. Have a damn conversation, TALK! COMMUNICATE! Take the time to actually get to know Kurisu and try to understand him. And Niina accepting the interview and baking a cake, gives him no obligation to anything. He accepted to do the interview - which he didn’t have too. And baking a cake - which he offered to do.
