Am I the only who was expecting a bit more of drama and blood? I honestly thought someone would hurt Shin badly and Jake will retaliate like a wild animal. Well that's pretty much what happened but with quite a happy ending rather than a thrilling cliffhanger. They could both escape the gangsters safely and that's a good thing but still I really wanted to see a wounded Shin and Jake being humbled a little bit lol The end was simply Shin getting super angry over Jake when he realized he was fooling him all this time abt his true identity

Yeah idk about this chapter. When I first saw the raws and didn't understand the dialogues it felt all right and even beautiful but with the translation it feels a bit off. It's great that he confessed but he didn't even give him the time to process it. He just took into consideration his own feelings and desire and shoved his thing inside my poor baby Mokhwa. I know Nakwon meant no harm whatsoever but the method here is still a big NO. Like can't you stop for a sec and wait for Mokhwa's reaction to your confession? I truly liked the time and energy Nakwon put into making amends for his past despicable behavior but now all I feel is confusion and disappointment. He somehow ruined all those efforts here ://

The last chapter (Ch.110) of this manhwa has been uploaded today and it's quite disappointing to say the least. There was barely any closure. Barely any discussion between SY and TS about all the shit they've been through but mostly, Minhyuk gets to just leave and that's it. I get that the authors are super tired once they reach the ending of their projects but a strong final should be the norm for such long and great stories. Unfortunately a lot of my favorite BLs have been lately rushed with a disappointing and frustrating ending. Im talking abt Semantic Error, POTN and now this one as well! It really drives me crazy. All these years following these stories just to to be left with nothing more than frustration. I just hope we'll at least have side stories to give us a bit more of a closure even though it will never be the same than a decent final in the main story ☹

It wasn't that bad it just left me with the feeling of ending too soon! They both confessed after dozens of chapters of miscommunication and angst and that was it! We could have at least had few chapters of them being lovey dovey after their confession. But mostly we don't know what will happen next. Seme was supposed to study abroad and uke was confused whether he should follow him or not and how their long distance is gonna work but nope! We don't get to know shit abt that part even tho it was the main source of conflict throughout this whole season

I've read the Semantic Error novel so I can tell you for certain that it has a volume worth of side stories to show us their lovey-dovey moments, conflicts and fights due to their different philosophies of leading life, meeting parents, getting married and a whole lot more. If the Manhwa follows the novel which it has so far, I can assure you that you'll have a belly full of dog food food by the end. You won't be disappointed.

I buy coins to read their stories which makes me even angrier when the ending is pure crap like 'Legs that won't walk'. Especially cause Im freaking broke but I still make that effort when I like the artist's project. New chapter was released today and it was officially announced that the last chapter will be uploaded next Friday. If you want major spoilers then read below:

Fast forward few years.
Nakyum is living peacefully in the countryside. He became and art teacher to the kids of the village. He looks happy and beautiful. His hair grew long and his face is all glowing up. He makes a living by selling his art. A merchant from the big city visits him on a regular basis to collect and deliver whatever NK needs. He also keeps him updated on the gossips and news of the city. That's how he tells him that Father Yoon has (finally) died and there's a rumor saying that SH could be the one who secretly poisoned his father lol
He also tells him that SH has been acting in the most respectable and honorable manner the past years. He passed the civil examination and ended up getting the 1st place. With that honor he received many marriage proposals from rich families.
NK then gets back to his house and we can see him remembering SH's last words to him. The fact that they will meet again. He thinks he may have dreamt abt it and it wasn't real but then he touches SH's beautiful scarf. The one he bought for him back then and he realizes it wasn't a dream so he cries and cries hoping to see him again one day.
The next chapter is going to be the last one

have you seen Spirited Away? there, Chihiro also gives her name to Yubaba when she signs the contract with her and she receives name "Sen" instead. taking away one's name is equivalent of taking possession of them, so Chihiro needs to remind herself of her name because if she were to forget it, she would be trapped and could never leave. this is a very common thing in various mythology around the world, if you take the Nordic myth about fairies for example, it is very similar. if you meet a fairy and they ask for your name you're not supposed to say, otherwise they'll take it from you along with your freedom. this is apparently the reason why Scandinavians often have a middle name that they never use (it is okay for them to tell fairies, it won't affect them, since it's a name that they don't use but is still their own), which I find quite endearing :) though it's an old tradition so I do wonder how many of them aware of the myth origin behind it :D
