This is going to sound stupid, no doubt, but I read two earlier comments that were calling Saya a cinnamon roll. Is this a particular term used toward particular people?
If it were just one comment calling Saya a cinnamon roll, I would have guessed it was just something like calling someone "baby" or "sweetheart" but I'm confused about the cinnamon rolls.
Btw awesome update. There was a feeling of realism in that which I really appreciate.

Haha. I came here for the 'This is rape and it is unacceptable' comments.
I don't know how many times I've explained this, but as long as the manga isn't encouraging rape, there really ain't a problem. S'just part of the story.
In this one, the guy who was raping the victim was indeed in love with him, but the manga wasn' tryin' ta say raping cuz you love someone makes it acceptable - it was jus' a story about a character who's love was poorly expressed and the misunderstanding of each others feelings. Really, the story wasn't about the rape. But if that's how ya make it out to be, suit yourself.

That's basically it. The manga isn't about rape nor is it encouraging it. Sure it contains rape, but thats jus' somethin' that happened between these 2 characters, be it a negative thing or whatever. Like, it's okay for movies or stories to contain scenes of killing, massacre and murder just as well as it's okay for movies to contain rape. Why is it okay? Because it's just a factor of the story. Now, porn is a different thing. Porn is purposely made for viewers to feel pleasure. In this case, a porn video of someone being raped or child porn is definitely something that should not be tolerated. But if all ya can see is the audacity of this story having a rape scene in it, you're completely missing the point of the story.

I'm an usual hater of rape story but I must admit that this one didn't really bother because it goes with the character.... Usually I hate it because they show rape as something "normal" to do when you're in love....
But here the character is not normal xD He's a bastard and knows it, so he acts like one. But he's still loved. End of the story, and its cute.

Exactly. What should be a problem is something like Sekaiichi hatsukoi. Don't get me wrong, I love the manga, but every sex scene mimics rape. But no one complains about it precisely because the manga normalizes the rape and even makes it look appealing. (If you wanted to be really sensitive about rape.) The BDSM genre is also quite a sensitive topic... There are so many things to be considered. But, you get the point. I'm glad ^^

I don't know, maybe this mangaka just isn't for me but I really wanted Riku to be the top. Usually, I can accept either characters to be either top or bottom, but Riku was strictly a top for me.. I couldn't read anymore after I confirmed he was a bottom... That's just my opinion though.

Have you ever heard of the saying If YOU have nothing GOOD to SAY you SHOULDN'T say ANYTHING at all. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Hahaha! I just saw this now.
Actually this post is misplaced...
I guess that was a bit too late for me.
I typed this comment in one of the "Elektal Delusion" post,
sadly I just noticed I posted it here -_-...multiple tabs problem.

Did they die or didn't they die? I was confused at first but then that's the beauty in it. It's a matter of how you perceive. They could have either ran away, escaped and the whole world thought they were dead, or they could have died but found peace in heaven.

( ̄へ ̄)they didn t die they whent into witness protection. They fake there dead. Swordfish CUT AEAL WHIT THE FED so the both can leave prison whit new IDENTETIS.

sorry to kill your buzz but your spelling is killing me right now. Thanks for a good laugh (=・ω・=)
(This is just my opinion, and nobody has to agree with me.)
In cases like these, especially where BDSM is included, it's almost only a matter of perception to see whether it was consensual or not. Well, firstly, the uke here did not give any verbal consent whatsoever. That been said, not all sex and definitely not all S&M sex has verbal consent. (Yes, there are many Masochistic uke's that very straight-forwardly tell their S's that they love it rough, and they love being spanked, etc.) but not all the time. (This is only based on perception, but after the uke was smacked, he became offended but he started blushing. This is just something that could be considered. That might have been the point where he realised he was being dominated over and his inner M was coming out.)
Take the manga "Ten Count" for example. A very famous yaoi S&M manga. We see our M Uke in Ten Count verbally object the S seme multiple times but the seme doesn't stop. People rarely complain about consent there for some reason. Anyway, the uke there is truly an M, so you literally can't say whether or not the Seme has done a bad thing for not stopping when the uke rejected him, or whether he did good on making his masochistic partner feel good. When our M uke says 'No', it's not always clear whether he's really saying yes or no. Another thing- Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica. That's not even categorized as a BDSM yaoi, and yet ALMOST in every sex scene which is ALMOST in every chapter, the Luke verbally rejects the seme. No one argues about consent there, either. Mostly because the sex scenes are still always portrayed in a way that the uke looks like he enjoys the sex anyway, (which he probably does.) But see, that's what makes it hard to tell what is or isn't consensual in yaoi mangas. Although, sometimes it is very obvious when someone is being raped. Especially when that's what the author is trying to portray.
You could write a book about this topic. Very interesting to read. I agree! ^^
I agree. I think the thoughts of the uke while having sex or doing lewd acts plus their personalities also add to the reasons why in some cass people don't complain even when te uke says no to the seme. In Sekaiichi Hatuskoi, for instance, Rtisu is in denial of his feelings, while in Ten Count, Kurose eventually turned out to be correct in his assessment of Shirotani, that is, wanting to be messed up instead of getting cured.
OK, I have to confess, I hate when ukes are screaming "no no no" all the time, it's a HUGE turn off for me XD I mean, if it's at first, it's somewhat understandable (still don't enjoy it very much though), but when sensei has written 3248237 chapters and uke is still screaming "no no no" DA HELL is that? XD Am I the only one who feels like that?
OMG I AGREE! and when the seme actually stop and say "you dong want this?" And the Uke be like " i didnt say stop or i didnt mean it like that" like the fuck u mean then? No means not to do or say something so how the hell is the seme knows what to do?! Like chill and enjoy the sex instead of saying no! Bluidy say yes darn it! That annoys my soul because i dont get why they are saying no lol
I think thats more like a Japanese thing maybe? Most of the normal av videos are the same, the girls always saying "no, its bad, stop" and so on... I think its a huge turn off too, but it seems they like it..
Huge turn off indeed, its like they wanna give the illusion that its forced, idk it just get tiring and old when you see it all the time. T s why i like to find stories when the Uke is super seductive and enjoys his sexuality
I agree that it is a turn off but I don't think they want it to look forced but the person on the receiving end is supposed to look pure. Like when they'd say "yes! More!" They'd be "dirty" and by saying "no! Stop!" All the time I think it's supposed to have an effect of appearing cute and pure and adorable. (While most people don't think it is I guess that really is a more Japanese thing.)
Yeah i guess that's what get the Japanese engines going in the bed it just confuses me when they say no but whateves lol
Hey Coming from 2020 your conversation is really intersting (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
