Well that's super fucked up to take a kid form a happy home and give no freedom or ever let him see his family.
the father is a horrible one. 1st he lets his son feel neglect for having no magic and then he fails to teach and discipline the other. Its one thing to act like this with adults BUT THEY ARE KIDS!
