Just finished rereading this for the nth time. For some reason I totally forgot the ending was so bittersweet. Like yes they get together and are practically married, but the fact that they don't get to share their relationship with others or officially get married leaves a black hole inside of me and them too I'd assume. ugh why can't ppl just let ppl love
I guess that's another reason that I liked this story so much as it feels so realistic. In most stories the people confess and are willing to face any adversary, but in reality many people are just closeted till their grave.... not that that's me or anything
if you want a story like this read "minority". It's literally the exact same premise, but flushed out and completed at 66 chapters and a couple side chs.
