guys theres no redemption arc, theres a scene where ml saves fl from rapist but then attempts to baby trap her but then he realises shes scared of him, and another scene where there’s like a big flood and he has trauma from her disappearing. Throughout the novel she gained some independence and when he found her she had her life sorred out and rejected him but he was crazy but like she opens up to him and we all know how it ends.
