I personally not a big fan of this genre. I would mostly rated how good they are based on the story, characters, wholesomeness.

Differentiate shounen-ai/yaoi? 
Shounen Ai: story focus. Might have indication of making love but not explicit.
Yaoi: Story focus. Explicit make love scene (showing 'light saber' and penetration.
