Exactly though he seems kind of possessive that is a natural thing when you're with your lover because you don't want them to cheat on you or get hurt or anything you want to take care of them so I can understand where he's coming from where he wants him to be with him all the time but you know one day he might have to get a job but if I had a lover as cute is that I would probably want to be with them all the time
Yes, I think to some extend it's okay, especially as long as possessive thoughts stay thoughts and don't become (harmful) actions. And I think Sujin only responded "That's great" to Dongwoo saying he's unemployed because if Dongwoo was busy, he wouldn't be able to come with Sujin to the event. I don't think he meant it in general and would be happy for Dongwoo if he got a job.
