The drama is not Yaoi, and the plot is similar but different. They had to change all the Yaoi scenes.

I’m so sad. I want to read this, but like 20 chapters ago, I got spoilers on the ending and now I don’t want to read it anymore. But Dw it’s not a bad ending, I just, lost interest bc I already know what going to happen. But reading it now just doesn’t hit the same now that I know. ╥﹏╥

Okay so basically, from what we’ve gathered this is their second life right… we also know Ido was a pos in that first life and bc of that Mc offed himself.
Well, ido actually loved the Mc since the very beginning, butttt, Mc gets raped by Ido’s brother (at that banquet party I think) and ido catches them in the middle of it when the mc got lost in the pheromones, so he was basically “caught cheating” in ido’s perspective. So ido, in return, locks mc up and treats him like the “whore” he is (basically having sex with him whenever he wanted (without even caring about how the mc felt about it) ido doesn’t even want to hear his side of the story. this is why mc has those panic attacks when it comes to the pheromones.
They live like this for a while until the mc gets pregnant. (He doesn’t want the child <—- I think, I don’t remember) but bc he’s pregnant and ido is abusing him, he’s obviously very miserable, so he goes to find the gun in ido’s office and kills himself. (Which is why ido locks the office in the second life)
I don’t remember what happened when ido found out, but I remember the spoilers saying something like ido finds out that mc was raped by his brother bc the brother basically brags about it and ido instantly regrets everything he’s done to him, bc he basically raped him the whole time they were together, but something (idk remember what), happens and ido is given another chance and goes back to when they first got engaged.
But obviously ido just doesn’t get away with his first life, mc eventually remembers what happened, that’s why in the second life, he can’t exactly pinpoint the cause of his paranoia around ido and leaving the house. When he remembers, obviously something happens, but idk remember what. But the ending is a happy one where ido is forgiven and yeah. That what I remember. Sorry if it doesn’t make sense.

You don’t know how many times I wanted to throw my iPad across the room reading this. Then the author just goes and gives us a neutral ending disguised as a “happy miserable one”. I really need to see the 3 years later after that stunt they pulled in the last chapter. (╬￣皿￣)凸
The shock factor of that plot twist really had me awake for an extra hour just thinking about it, I’ve come back to comment since it literally blew my mind.
