i am highkey rooting for their love as it ended with misunderstanding and tragedy. bcs for jin-goo’s character was just a finally and necessary that the gods had to do, to intervene, as 1,300 years had passed but iu is still holding grudges and never got her closure. and if iu uttered chung-myung (do-hyun) name idk, maybe a resolution? idkidk

currently reading the novel & i’m at chapter 101. so basically he thinks that the reason lee-yeon flinches or act scared when he’s awake or doing something is bcs he thinks that he is physically abusing her before. and ofc, we all know that is not true as they’re NOT married BUT he is scary in deed. and him, forgetting this “past chae-woo” is like god giving him a second chance to be a better “husband” to lee-yeon.
just curious what are y’all thoughts if that’s really the case, just a hypothetical question or situation, let’s say chae-woo is really an asshole husband (yes they really got married, in this hypothetical situation) and he physically abused lee-yeon and got into an accident and completely wiped out his memories and saw this as an opportunity to fix his mistakes. what do y’all think?

as many of us already know, Ines' supposedly "1st life" (where she married that red bastard) is not really her first life but her second one.
her first life is together with Carcel, remember the chapter where Carcel dreamed of Ines' undressing and (not verbatim) saying "i've been waiting for you" something along the lines? yep, that dream is indeed had happened. it happened in their first life.
