A lot of readers are hating/dislike Hyesung even before, and until now they still do. And then she releases this chapter (though I admire her for sticking to her guns despite some feedback). The dislike is understandable, and on a quick glance it does seem like Dojun is too good for him. Maybe that is correct, but this happens irl and we really can’t do anything about it. It’s like someone who watches as her friend ends up with someone that you think she doesn’t deserve, and what we can only do is just watch and see how Fargo will wrap up the story.
.
I’m sure she will not let this end up on a sour note. However, I don’t think she will magically make Hyesung sweet and loving overnight too. We’re already too late in the story for that to convincingly happen anyways. I do remember how disappointed I was how Hyesung and Dojin resolved their argument before they got married, but then I realized, hey, that’s very believable. Sometimes that’s just how it works in real life. But that doesn’t mean that they are going to live happily ever after. After all, they’re still in the beginning stages of their married life.
.
Actually that’s what I really like with Hyesung’s character. He is flawed and a lot of times unlikeable. He is pretty yes, but his flaws are overshadowing his looks. But that’s what makes him a good character. Though we are on the last few chapters, he is still growing as a person. Yes, he’s acting immature, but aren’t we all? They got hitched on a short notice, and he was against it first. He didn’t even want Byul during that time, but he changed. And he is still changing.
They really are perfect for each other (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ i like this hot/cold pairing, it’s like a comedy duo. Just kidding, I do really like them to end up together
