I hate to sound like a heartless dickhead but what makes her so sure that she is guaranteed to be the queen? Giving her parents the money and then moving along was a very rash move on her part, like if it was me I would have killed them on the spot instead of letting them live comfortably with a stack load of money until I "become queen", even though that's not a guarantee.

About her suddenly changing... i can agree cause some MCs in reincarnated manhwa just suddenly switch to a cute personality even though they where abused their whole life before... some MCs though like the MCs from Oak Tree and Contract Princess (sorry idk the full name) act like they have been abused before they switch to a more cute innocent persona.
