I've never been a fan of mangas in which the uke gets raped and then falls in love, however, both of them seemed to be kinda close (even tho seme was after revenge) , Ryou came to look after Asuka when he got that message, there could have been lingering feelings all along, the sex and body contact just flipped the switch ig.
