When I first saw he removed his tattoo I was ready to drop the book. I was like an angel has lost its wings. ╥﹏╥
To me personally I felt like his tattoo was one of the best parts of his character design! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Also that he might become resentful for changing so much of himself for her. However, I persevered because I would like to see how this plays out, and the story is cute. (≧∀≦)
Another thing I like is how she's not overly shy about their sex life. At least when she's with him, because I'm so sick and tired of seeing the girls act like they don't know anything and like they're so shy and ashamed. Like there's never an in between they're always either super innocent and prudish or a dominating overly sexual character. So I like that she's in between she's not completely innocent or far left.(/TДT)/
1: Telling him not to hold back is like saying you don't value walking as a person anymore. 2: You're very cute it's dangerous to be so cute. 3: I wish he would stop comparing Dobin to some kind of small animal every 5 seconds throughout the book. 4: I hope he takes precautions because right now this is the textbook BL getting pregnant scenario.
I love the princess for acknowledging Sally but girl come on ask for something bigger. Also his wife The duchess is pissing me off. Why does she keep acting like she has no idea why he could possibly hate her. Like I don't know maybe be because you're a manipulative liar who has killed abused and any other crime you can think of to any person he's ever been close to. Like we need this backstory bad because I need to know why she wants to be married him so bad if she doesn't even like him, and why would he marry her if he clearly hates her. Because if I remember correctly his family is in a position to oppose the imperial family if they want to.
You might want to reread or read the novel spoilers, the Duke had to marry her because it was a marriage ordered and arranged by the empress dowager, who only did so because her granddaughter (the brown haired girl/princess who asked to come to the party in this episode) asked her to do that. She mentions wishing she hadn't been so enamored by Elysee and Elysee getting the marriage she wanted is connected to that because she got the princess to ask for the marriage arrangement for her from the empress dowager. It's really a bit of a mess but if you go back and read some chapters or check the novel spoilers it should all come together.
I didn't miss anything I understand, but I want to know what type of lie would lead to the empress dowager forcing them to get married. That's the part that I can't wait for.(≧∀≦) Also from my understanding his family is in a position to refuse an order given by the imperial Palace now it might not be easy but they can do it because of how high they are in the empire. And if we take into account that him and the emperor are kind of friends he should have definitely been able to refuse her order.( ̄∇ ̄")
They explain why he couldn't refuse it though, the name might be powerful but refusing an imperial order would be asking for trouble and likely lead to them losing that same power and making the imperial family angry. It's similar to how Sally had to stop going to parties because the Empress Dowager demanded it even though she wasn't in the wrong. Sally is in a different position power wise (still has the backing of the duke however) but going against the Empress Dowager who was at that time at the peak of her power still would be asking for punishment and trouble.
Also even if the Duke and the emperor were genuinely friends rejecting the imperial order to marry Elysee would be seen as a slight and as a sign that the Duke doesn't respect the imperial family and would likely spoil their friendship. The emperor let the empress Dowager run things as she pleased until he found out that she was the reason why they lost the imperial heir.
I feel like I'm not articulating my point. What I'm trying to say is, why is he going along with the LIE. He knows it's a lie, why not just talk to the empress dowager. I understand that she only helped The duchess because of her granddaughter, but her granddaughter told a lie that had to be convincing enough for her to help. Because the empress dowager doesn't even like the duchess. Also about the refusal part, he's close to the emperor only because the emperor likes him, however he doesn't really like the emperor. So why he cares about staying in good standing with the imperial family. Like I want to know is there a reason other than the obvious fact that he's the emperor. It's not that I don't understand what happens in the story. I'm just saying that I can't wait for the plot hose to be filled when we get the backstory. Does this make sense? ╥﹏╥

Um no, thank you! What do you mean get caught in her original form. Even if he's not in on it I still smell a set up coming. Something's real fishy around these parts and we're not eating fish. Run girl, stop putting so much faith in him! (/TДT)/
Also they're definitely developing real feelings for one another. Now when they'll figure that out is another story entirely, but just know I'm excited for the big reveal.(▰˘◡˘▰)
The love part of the story was really cute. The whole thing is pretty straightforward she's very unwavering with the way she loves him, which is very admirable. They're extremely good together he's really a gentleman considering the kind of environment he grew up in. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
However I do feel like the other parts were slightly lacking. Especially the sons character it just felt like he was such a major character and then we just up and discarded him. Like his ending felt like something that came right out of a movie you know how the bad guy goes to jail and then you never hear anything else about them that's what I got from his ending. Usually in a book all the questions that you might have about a character are answered, at least the common ones are. But this book felt more like a movie very open and shut movie with no room for any nuance, or complexities besides the female leads relationship with her mother. I feel like there should have been a little more depth to his character cuz he did seem more complicated than just liking her. Because when you look at his family dynamic we never got to explore his father which we barely ever saw them in the same room together and then his mom being overbearing on all fronts. I feel like we should have dived a little bit deeper into his character. Also the girlfriend who he was supposed to be marrying from that other company all of a sudden they just weren't engaged anymore and there wasn't any illusion to a struggle to come to that conclusion. And this seems confusing to me considering how she expressed having feelings for him or being genuinely interested in him.(/TДT)/
Also just to clarify I don't like his character. Maybe if we had got a little bit more depth to his character I could have possibly had more complex feelings about him. But as of right now he was definitely an entitled rich boy who couldn't take no for an answer, and couldn't conceptualize someone not being attracted to him. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Bro I started reading this 5 years ago when it first came out. I thought, "hey it's marinated for a while why don't I pick this up again." Spent all day reading is just to find out it ends on a cliffhanger, and it's still ongoing. I'm upset, but most importantly I'm confused. I need more NOW.
Also I can't believe Agia's willing to subject himself to his worst nightmare so Ken can escape. I know he loves Ken and that he's the most important thing ever to him, but to make that kind of deal seems insane to me. Especially because there's no guarantee that this will work out or that she'll listen to him. Like at one point I couldn't tell which was the real him because his character went so back and forth. It almost seemed like he was a completely different person. I need an update now I can't fathom a world where Ken decide to become a vampire.

This was such a glorious experience. Never really read a story where the main couple had this kind of trope until now. And I have to say I loved it. I do feel like we kind of just brush past the fact that he's been lying to her since they met for a really long time. However, since they're cute and worked it out in the end I'll let it go. I wish we could have gotten to see their lives with the kids a little bit more but so far chef's kiss.(▰˘◡˘▰)
Also can we talk about how hot the girl was, even when she was naked and her tits were out for some reason she still gave masculine. It was probably the wolf haircut it was gorgeous, and so well drawn! (≧∀≦)I was halfway to fall for her. I mean her character style was super good.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ You have to give it to him he does have great taste.
But I will say I don't really like the idea of them having known each other in the past. I don't know why I always feel like it's super creepy in age Gap relationships. They can have an age Gap, but once you bring in the fact that they knew each other when one party was really young it's kinda creepy imo. Even though that's not the case here I just can't shake the feeling. But overall immaculate!

Honestly I don't care that Hyeok is using him. To me that's better that our fellow grooming creep. I mean seriously the more they went into detail about the backstory the more I wanted to peel my skin off. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍However, I do think they're both weird, not equally weird, but weird. Because what do you mean you don't mind getting freaky with your sibling in the room. Much less be in the tunnel with your sibling. Like isn't it funny that he was saying he didn't want to be tunnel buddies with his brother. Just to turn around and literally be in the tunnel with his brother. Me personally I don't care how close we are that's weird, and they're not even close so it's extra weird. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
But we all know Hyeon should have backed down because his brother doesn't believe in bluffing. I mean bro really doesn't beat around the bush like he said, and he doesn't mind letting you know he has a problem. He also doesn't care enough to try and hide anything from hyeon, so why did he think he'd leave. ╥﹏╥
