manhuas like this make me think... if u can't make a decent story line, at least do it like japan, & make it smutty. if nothing else, readers can go for that.
but everything just feels 1/2 baked... like it's made based on the fantasies of a 12-year old... while the art not necessarily bad, it's so generic that it's a waste of drawing skills.
sigh... it's not bad... it's just the same story told by a different narrator. if i haven't read the other one, i might've come to like this one. but, i find myself getting bored after a few chapters...
exactly what i was discussing with my friend a few years ago while looking at an artbook of female warriors... why the make up, the get up, the jewelry, the nipple piercings (with chains) i mean, won't those things get caught in weapons & stuff... sure they look sexy but what are they fighting the enemy with? the art of seducing men to death? talk about unpractical...
she's right about the 'sexy warrior woman' stuff being old... for some reason fashion people always thinks it's fresh... but it's so totally not.

wow, i didn't expect to like it... the hero is funny, & a gf that turns into a gorilla. talk about hilarious... & fan service is enough to spice things up, but not too much to the point of disgust.
if he doesn't string along a bunch of dumb harem girls later, i think i will continue to like this one.
