Before the mom met the count, she met this dude(the prince) as a customer who fell in love with her and promised to marry her and all that. But then one day he never came again. With him, she had aria but never told her who it was since she was heartbroken which is why she can’t trust nobles and says the count will replace her. He later appears after isis’s falling out and still really loves the mom and says he couldn’t get her bc his mom(I think) found out he’s been seeing a prostitute and was against it and I forget what exactly happens but that’s why he was banished. [BIG SPOILER] the mom and that prince have a happy ending
He also did go back for the mom but she already married the count and since he didn’t know her real name he could never find her.
I hope there's a side story for them. I'd very much like to see it.
