I can see it going both way... he didn’t say he forgave him just acknowledged that at least he knew it was wrong. If author makes it into "I can't be mad anymore because I know his backstory so that excuses the SA" then nah... but MC hasn't said anything like that yet... and hopefully won't.
Thanks for explaining my side, I didn't really want my comment to be too long lol I just felt like author is really pushing the Duke as the ML and to redeem him, author decided to throw every other ML at the bottom to be unlikeable too. In the earlier chapters, Prince loved the MC as a person and tried to change but now looks like he will went yandere. IDAF about the Duke since his assaults and him treating MC as an object since the beginning so yeah man this comment is too long too ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I get you. I've been going between dropping and not... all the potential MLs had pros at the start... but now it seems to all be cons... like picking the best option out of the worst batch. But yeah the 3rd ML just get no story time whatsoever and he seemed to be the better option... the CP and Duke seem to be going off the deep end like you said. I can also see CP acting in non-consensual way from his attitude in the last several chapters.
The new cover gave me some hope the 3rd ML may get some story time but his position in the cover isn't hopeful for him to be end game.
