I don't know why but I kept thinking that Jaeha will die and the detective is jaeha's father who looks like Jaeha. It makes Yoseob think the detective is Jaeha, which causes Yoseob started to talk or anwer all questions....

I noticed he had the same color hair (although a tad bit darker) as Jaeaha and he called him by his name and all. Maybe he wanted to talk to someone that resembled his brother or something. I thought that would've been an interesting litte detail to add. But I also really like your theory.
I kinda thought the same thing, when I saw the color of the detectives hair I felt like he might have looked like Jaeha, causing Yoseob to open up.
If they became a couple then living together, I hope they would adopt those cats, so the house will be so lively (=・ω・=)
