I always end up feeling sorry for bad guys like Choi in this story. It's sad how he turned out that way, growing up with so much pressure to maintain his family's honor. Sure, he might be an alpha with a name and money, but compared to Taeyoon, who's also an alpha but grew up poor, it's a different story. Taeyoon experienced real love and freedom, even without any money, which makes a huge difference.

I think Jae-in keeps those people away from Choi, even though Choi gets reports on every move Jae-in makes, because that was Jae-in’s plan all along. He wants Choi to know that the omega he dumped is living his own life. Jae-in’s purpose is to haunt Choi with his presence without showing any sign of needing him. That’s just my take on it.

I gotta say, I knew I'd be a wreck after reading this, no matter how prepped I was. And guess what? It’s 2 am, and I'm fckng bawling my eyes out! This manga is just too good. I put off reading it for so long 'cause I felt like I wouldn’t really get it, despite all the hype and the good art. But damn, it's so well done I don’t even have words.

Yes I agree how could they not talk for that long lol. I wasn't expecting that.. I thought he would be back to him after graduating anyways it's good as a story but in real life you don't wanna do that cuz you dunno when death comes knocking at your door. If you love someone you always find ways to be with them even if just for a couple of hours or just sending letters etc.. I don't know if it's just a me thing but 16 years man... you're pretty much strangers if you don't talk to each other lol. I've already forgotten most people I've met from 16 years ago especially when we don't talk
So what happened to the shaman and the king? Like they both turned into a demon? Or like what?
I think the shaman couldn’t live without the king so they did some sort of ritual that made him become a ghost too so that they can be together. I think it’s a bittersweet ending . Still happy in my opinion because they get to be together
Ohhhh yeahh more likely. I also think it's a bittersweet ending because of the king becoming a demon and they never experience a peaceful life
But they seem like two different people (past him and his present self, the shaman.) Which one is the real him? Are they the same person or two different people?
