OH MY! so I've read the other manga about yumi and hayashida, I really think that he should at least meet up with yumi and apologizes to him bcs what he did to yumi is not a trivial things. Yeah he also went through a lot but imo if he wants to move on, be happy and being a decent human being the least he can do is apologizes to yumi face to face whether yumi is going to forgives him or not
There's Manga of that part when he says he doesen't wanna met up with yumi and talk it all out cuz he knows that yumi will forgive him easily and say they can just be friends . He says that he want to be unforgiven so we dont forget what he did to yumi .
