Ohh OK I understand what u mean. Actually, when he says brother. He doesn't mean it like a actual sibling relationship. Brother is called gege is Chinese and it basically means like an older guy that you know or ur close with. It doesn't actually mean that he wants to be her brother. It's the same as calling a guy oppa in Korean. It doesn't actually mean imcest lol. It's just a term to call young guys. I hope that clears it up for u.

hi i too dont stan incest but in her defence she literally has 0 idea on how relations work and what is acceptable or not! (in the novel the author went into q some detail on how the cat was so frustrated cus she was getting "taken advantage of" cus she had no idea what was normal in a sibling relationship cus she spent her entire life alone/interacting with animals only) And of course they also arent actual siblings, wuyao is just pretending to be her brother so that he can stay there.
