I dont like harem so I really avoid stories with too many female characters but this one is just okay I guess. I mean there are no sparkly moments between MC and the girls, just his mother asking questions to tease here and there but nah it's not much, MC is an old man lol. It's just sad about what happened to team alpha but it cant be helped but I think it's still better if some of the guys stayed to get stronger. It's just that they somehow looked weak to me just bc Yaeyoung got an early headstart and she progresses too fast. It seemed like the guys here are cut off so they wont steal some spotlight from the MC coz that happens right? where the second male lead or third or fourth are stealing spotlights. Lol. AND WHAT'S WITH ALWAYS ONE EYE OPEN? Lmao idk anymore. So yeah, I think this is safe from harem where girls are stupid enough to be a hindrance to a good plot.
It's not really harem up to latest chap because there is no romance at all. Even the hints are just intended for comedy and nothing more.

As for the men being intended to look weak to avoid overpowering MC, I don't think that's the case. For instance, in Demon Slayer or other shounen, there are also stronger characters than MC, but they don't necessarily overshadow MC.

This book really chapped away a huge amount of my points in heaven. Like I was so angry at what happened to Jungho then I realized I was siding with the devils here and I was like "what kinda God do smth like this?" Dang. Gotta pray tonight for forgiveness. And then the mf bully whom i forgot the name coz he a piece of trash got demonic powers too, hnggg so annoying!!! And yeah Jinoh got his ultimate form and that leads the mc to look still too weak among them. Ugh. Annoyed 3000. There are a lot of pointless battles. Sarah became pitiful for nothing. Jude is just an OP child MC. I get that some apostles have gone evil but some of them arent and he fights them regardless of the situation, there are fights that could end up with compromise or something better but all they do is fight and arouse sooooooooooooooo many misunderstanding!!!!! Please someone enlighten me why is it like that bc i really dont get it, maybe I missed some point in the story as to why he's so battle thirsty and wants to fight and make misunderstandings pass by just bc he knows he can deal with them by fighting them.

And so in the end, he came back and hugged Minjoon’s sleeping figure"" I think its cute that Daiki wanted to hug minjoon and it kinda shows that Daiki is interested in him. I know novels are always more detailed but i wish the manhwa showed the little stuff like this, becausw it wouldve gave everyone who reads the manhwa a different prespective of daiki and know more about their relationship. After i read the novel it made me like daiki a little bit more.
