the last story is the cliche yaoi trope that was popular a long time ago. no one complained about it before and now a new book comes out with the same trope, everyone all of a sudden hates it. a lot of older popular mangagkas have made stories exactly like it, and everyone loved it. i mean hidoku shinaide started out similar. people are such fucking hypocrites.

I'd say it's less of being hypocrites and more of them knowing better now. It's like how the further back in time you go, the more people legit though different sexes and races had no rights. Now that rape is being called out on more seriously, people are recognizing it more and calling it out for what it is. Also, the author of Hidoku Shinaide recognized this and approached it in the later chapters by having the guys talk out how it was a sh*tty way to start and the seme even goes through the serious guilt that should come along with it if anyone ever does it. As time progresses and people learn more, it will reflect on art and how others perceive that art.
the shitty thing is that commentors call it out on ALL the stories with rape/blackmail/ etc etc saying how the story sucks and the artists are stupid for thinking rape is normal and they make someone who enjoys the story feel guilty about liking the story. and just because an artist puts rape to the story doesnt mean they dont know what it is. its annoying as fuck when they bash on the people and the artists. they could come back after they delete all the comments about how much they love hidoku shinade and kamon saeko's stories.
I like those stories. So just speak for ya self. They bring me joy. Like maybe I'll be pretty one day.
