Not even cuz he likes that human girl, I just feel bad for Honu the way he treats her is beyond forgiveness and I know she’s technically not human but the only way to describe this is dehumanizing I genuinely feel bad for her she was lonely and ostracized all her life just to get tortured to save the same people that beat her and fix a decades old relationship for a man that becomes joyful at the thought of confining you in small spaces. Imae doesn’t deserve Honu she’s too good for him but I’m not going to drop I want to see how this plays out. From what I can tell the writing is good, when she called him out on his bs you could really feel her desire of freedom and autonomy compared to the other chapters

Every single one of these guys blames her for their own actions and act as if Penelope is obligated to return their feelings and jump through hoops to meet their expectations. Sure Callisto thought what she was saying didn’t make sense at first but he snapped back to reality and realized his mistakes in time to meet her expectations rather than the other way around
This is why I love Callisto so much and is the only perfect ML (even if their first meeting was trying to kill her lol) and he’s so much better because he realized his mistake, makes it to her and now gives no shit about anyone else except Penelope and is doing everything for her now.
Meanwhile, these losers expect she will return their feelings after hurting her so much. I hate that there are so many romfan MLs are like these too and made it romanticizing. It irks me because I prefer Callisto or any ML that would acknowledge their mistake and build trust instead of adding suspicion one after another and excuse it as “its because you were too suspicious” and readers of those say its valid when FL is suffering.
We need more authors like this instead of romanticizing damsel in distress, guilt tripping or making FL fall for a man who betrays her and expects to still return their feelings after

I don't think Chaeri should be an idol. I don't think it suits her tbh I don't think that type if pressure is good for her mental well-being. I do think she is someone. suited for the spot light I wish they continued with how good she was in sports and became a professional athlete or something I feel like that'd be more suited for her
mm i agree i think she fits the professional athlete idea better than her becoming an idol even before she gets through all the stress of being an idol we can see how it’s already affecting her like looking at how skinny she’s gotten and idol fans are harsher so i can see it really mentally affecting her
i would 100% rather see athletic chaeri than idol chaeri
