Unfortunately no. It was one of those "the one that got away" kind of love. It was a cute puppy love and even tho we didn't get together I was still happy and contented that I've liked a talented, brilliant and kind person. We are not that close even before when we were in highschool but we have common friends (he was a year above me) so we casually exchange hi's and hello's whenever we meet and honestly, I wasn't expecting anything. I remember all the things I've done in the past like writing his name numerous times on the back of my notebooks, when I borrowed his notebook cause according to our common friend he has a very tidy and neat penmanship (they didn't lie), praying every night that he'll be healthy, protected and happy, wishing to the stars that one day y'know I'd get to at least dance with him at junior/senior prom night (it actually happened but it was an arranged senior/junior group with assigned partners but there's a part where we form a circle and exchange partners for a short while and he told me I was pretty when I got to him. I WAS SO HAPPY I WAS I A DAZED AFTER HE GAVE ME TO MY NEXT DANCE PARTNER), stealing glances when he's not looking, and all those shit the MC's in this novel does like staring as he walks on the corridor LMAO. And by the time that we graduated, that's when the truth came out that he had a crush on me too, sadly I didnt have time to think about it that much since I've been focusing on my studies and like, I didn't get a confession directly from him nor did I have the courage to confess to him tho I still felt happy knowing that he liked me too. it's been 6 years but occasionally I still think about him.
Sorry It's a long reply. I just felt excited whenever I talked about him. I've never liked someone else to that degree since then. My first love was a nice experience.
