So I'm not the only one who feels like the quality of this went down a little? The author and illustrator/s should really rest or something.
I can't help but feel a little upset at the turn this took, I mean it all suddenly became so toxic and confusing. It's no lomger that lighthearted comic I started reading months ago...

There ya go romanticizing rape yet again. I HATE THIS

i really don't get the issue here cos FIRST this is FICTION; am i saying that just cos they're fiction they should be treated so cruelly FOR FUCK'S SAKE NO you know that most of the shit here can never happen IRL. SECONDLY i have seen so many like countless heterosexual mangas that romanticize rape and even cheating and incest even more that bl. i mean let us not talk about hentai that is founded an based on rape, gang rape, abuse and all other shit so what exactly is the problem here. you're all like "i don't like rape i'm gonna drop this bl manga cos of that" it is honestly really annoying COS IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. I'M DONE WITH THIS I HATE RAPE IN BL MANGA SHIT Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

Dude if you don't like rape IN A FICTION don't read it I'm not saying that rape is okay bye in this fiction is just what the reader's ideas on kageyama and hinata so just don't be like
that just because you don't like it . Because the moment you see kageyama like that, you know its going to be rape so please next time just click off (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 (⌒▽⌒)

It dose not matter if it is bl or shoujo or what ever romanticising rape is a big issue and by doing that you are normalizing it. It dose not matter if it is fiction or not, many studies have pointed to the link between people that consume content where rape is shown to be "normal" think that it is and do to realise that they raped someone. So yes it is fiction and yes rape is a big issue in both hetro manga and hentai but it is also an issue in bl and we need to be more aware of it.

I agree, let's make peace. And to clear things up, my main problem is how they adressed it all. It seemed as though the rape wasn't a huge deal and they could live happily ever after, I didn't like that. I've read other mangas in which it's adressed well and not treated as something the victim quickly looks past. After rape there's a process and it's a huge struggle, it doesn't matter if in the end he still had feelings because in the act he didn't give consent; the key is how there was an obvious refusal and yet he kept going without listening to the other one's "no's". The aftermath was so disappointing. I read the whole manga hoping the issue would be adressed but idk, I'm disappointed in the way it was treated.
Are we good? Cause this is like my tenth time re-reading BJ Alex and I know damn well I'm not the only one :o
