I think he's just intense lol. I'm assuming he just thinks our protagonist did something to trick everyone because they're defending him immediately. Kinda like a brother character who feels hurt when his sister pays more attention to someone other than him and starts spewing brainwashing accusations lol. I don't think he's even mad, I think he just expresses intense feelings through yelling.
