i fucking knew hawks didnt actually kill best jeanist. im glad endeavor tried to fix his relationships with his family but he did a lot of fucked up things to them, i could never forgive or forget that.
seeing shoto cry is absolutely killing me, i love him so much. i dont know what's gonna happen with him and dabi but if im being honest i really love dabi and i kind of want him and shoto to be on some kind of good terms
I mean, Enji even said it himself, he doesn't have the right, or expect his family to forgive him, and he's gonna face any consequences thrown at him. But he's still gonna redeem for his action.
Personally, I think us readers, at the end of the day, are just outsiders, so we don't really have the right to forgive him or not. It is up to the people involved, aka the Todoroki family (and technically the author), to decide this.
Enji probably deserves the punishments thrown at him, but he also at least deserves a second chance, since he has been sincerely trying to fix things. Forgiving or giving a second chance does not mean throwing the past out of the window, it means embracing/accepting the past to create a better present and future. It seems like some people in the fandom believe forgiving = forgetting everything. They are not the same.
