I love this, such a good manga and my only issue is with how much it’s hurting me.
So I might drop this because of how sad I was finding out about it.

Finding out Izekiel wasn’t the main love interest made me sad. I knew from the beginning everybody was going to pick Lucas and everything (no lie I was a fan of both Lucas and Izekiel from the beginning but as the story progressed it changed) but the way the story was going it made me pick Izekiel even more for Athy. He loved her in the first life and the present life and that got me, the feelings he has for her are just so pure. And then I found out he isn’t the ML through a meme ;-; (might get attacked, I’m just stating my opinion please-)
This is the second time ever that I was wrong about who the ML was and this also is the one that’s actually hurting me.
I was gonna say about how I think he’s better suited for Athy but in all honesty I just want him to be happy and I hope he is in the end. This includes Jeanette too. I know there’s a lot of people who hate Jeanette and I don’t understand why. I get how people can find her annoying though. This girl is convinced that she’s Athy’s sister and Claude’s daughter and is trying to be close to them as a family, you can’t really blame her if there are people who she trusts that are telling her that. You can’t blame her either about the curse when she doesn’t know it.
This is all I have to say. I’m open for more people’s opinions! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
hey girl i totally respect your opinion but since you asked about how others feel about Jeanette and why they dislike her and Izekiel i’ll tell you from my understanding.
In the novel btw jeanette and Izekiel were a lot more in the background, they weren’t characters that were very focused on the story. But since we’re talking about the manhwa it’s clear that jeanette isn’t rlly supposed to be a likeable character. We are introduced to athy who is someone who came from nothing and is now trapped in a story book and will do anything in order to survive, athy is funny, has a lot of character and is smart and charming she’s not needy or a spoiled and is adorable. The fact that she will do anything for claudes love made her very likeable and relatable because if you are someone who has daddy issues you’ve probably felt the same way towards your dad, so to see athy finally win over cluades love was very sweet. Then we are introduced to jeannette, the first time she gets introduced is to show how jeanette is a horrible person who steals cluades love in the story book. Though we actually see that she isn’t a horrible person it’s very upsetting having her around when the readers and athy know that there’s a chance she can turn evil and steal claudes love that athy worked so hard for. It can also be annoying when jeannette talks about how claude is her father because the readers and athy know that’s not true and her real father is right beside her. It’s not jeanntes fault but it’s so hard to like her knowing all that.
Then we have Izekiel, he isn’t someone who was mentioned in the web novel that much, he was way more of a side character. I personally disagree that he would be better for athy. Izekiel is a sweet boy but let’s be real, he doesn’t know a single thing about athy but claims he loves her. When really he fell in “love” with her at first sight because of her looks. Izekiel doesn’t know athys true personality. Athy isn’t open with him, and he isn’t open with her. They barley have any meaningful conversation. He also isn’t very helpful, he knew there was a chance athy was in danger but didn’t warn her or do anything to stop it. He’s too dense for athy who is strong spirited. But lucas on the other hand is the most helpful person in athys life, he has done basically everything for her. He supports her mentally and physically. They can vent to each other, they are very comfortable around each other. They make each other happy and have seen every side of each other’s personality. They are very similar. Now i don’t blame Izekiel for not doing much since he was barley mentioned in the novel but yeah

I never read the full web novel. But the manwha does seem to stretch out events. Their definitely making the manwha seem longer then the novel but all the moments in the novel are happening in the manwha so far

You bet I bawled my eyes out on that explosion and you bet I cried on Caitel’s birthday chapter. I mean, the character development of the Father and Daughter relationship is so precious that it hurts me so much. ┗( T﹏T )┛
Can I also say that Love triangles hurt me? Havel and Ahin-
In the beginning I thought the main love interest was Ahin and it would be this whole awkward thing about Ariadna and Ahin but no- Havel comes back and boom, Love triangle.
I feel like Havel will be end game but I want it to be Ahin-

I’m liking the manhwa but I get ticked off whenever they seem so glad about ‘her’ changing and how they didn’t like the way she was before. I feel bad for OG Sennenia because she’s actually dead and also why did they hate her after she tried to kill herself???? As her family shouldn’t they be trying to help her out?
I feel the same in regards to them being so fascinated by how she changed so much... It is becoming a wee bit annoying.
I just want to nswer your question based on my opinion and experience.
Tho I assume you know the answer to the question you asked, and wanted to simply point out the wrong behaviour of a family.
I'd like to say that some families (especially that one - not sure if they're royals or not but are proud and of high status) don't teach the way of love... But the way of survival. Notice that they make connections and keep someone who only if it's beneficial, can bring something into family, has some role. Because otherwise they are a pest to them.
(though it should be different when a person has depression and has killed herself or any other issue) I myself am very suprised that they didn't really do much after her death. (no investigation, no check ups... Nada... What would happen if similar thing happens to someone else?)
But I think that overall their grandfather wants to show them how cruel is this world especially without someone's support... Though... I would like to see some sort of guidance from him.
And I would like to remind you. It is my observation/opinion from experience. I don't take sides. I see where you are coming from and I fully understand it. I'd even say keep it that way because that shows how empathic you are.

True, also about not taking sides. I feel the same way a bit since OG Sennenia was shown to be cold to the rest of the family members and has done something to hurt Gawia (if I remember-?) so it may be one of the causes that got her to be treated that way.
This doesn’t mean I feel like it’s right for them to not help her after her ‘death’ or treat her the same way as before but yeah-

Yes it does look like did hurt Gwaine (I think it is) but... She (the previous character) still should apologise. So should he. They are a family afterall and noe one is perfect.

Benjamin is hurting me with that second lead syndrome. BUT at least he resolved it quickly in his head. I love that he loves her and respects her in a way and he gives me that vibe of even though he knows he won’t be with her romantically. He still wants to support her and be friends with her.
I love the manhwa for making me ACTUALLY think who she would end up with and who’s a better match for her. Also got shocked at how the story didn’t start with the false confession but built the story up to that point. I just feel bad for Cabel atm because he genuinely likes MC and thinks that her confession was directed towards him but nO, and Elvin might be hurt at how MC and Cabel are dating.(or he’s going to be that character who will be around MC a lot to win her over and ‘not give up’)
Continuing off who would be with MC, I don’t really know. I just want all of the characters to be happy man! ┗( T﹏T )┛

Knight is saying to excuse the ‘children’ (what children? If Eris, the prince and Helena were childhood friends together. Then why is Eris more mature or is the sensible one in this situation, they aren’t 10 year olds), honestly my neutral thoughts of him just went DOWN when he said that BS statement, when the Crown Prince and Helena should be thinking about Eris. If the Crown Prince loves Helena SO MUCH then why doesn’t he just break off the engagement already-? And Helena lol, the Prince AND Eris are ENGAGED.
