For real,they neglected her,and didn't properly took care of her and now that she has changed they will act like their close and start developing affection which irritates me and the fact that they didn't even bother to care when she committed suicide ;-; and now that is acting happy they bother her for the smallest things （/TДT)/

I love the power dynamic between the empress and the duke as a reader. Especially the scene where we first saw them together, the back and forth between them was so good. The subtle back handed compliments and the small insults that i had to re-read to figure out it was an insult. *chefs kiss*
