Anyway,
-The mother (and obviously the father) has been emotionally neglecting their child in most of his development years (15years) and those years of needing and wanting care won’t come back. I’m surprised he’s softened up that fast. But realistically speaking it’s Vicente’s right to be that touchy to his mom, if you live your life with your mother being cold and suddenly changed, I’m more surprised if he’s not guarded to be abandoned again. Just saying
- the duke seems hurt when she said he is the “best choice” and I think he’s mad because he thought his wife is unhappy of their marriage and therefore asking him not to politically marrying their son randomly
- Yes, this manhwa is irritating(Especially if you relate to Vicente, the parents are irritating) because it touched some sore spots. they’re good people, bad parents. But I’m looking forward to how they resolve it in their family
