I love this manga but really dissapointed. Don't get me wrong. I'm pro Albert-Candy(I mean, fck, he is so hot with that blonde hair, and he turns out to be The Prince and stuff?? Hell yes.) but the author didn't really give them much attention, you know what i mean?
Sure they're living together and stuff(I mean He did helped her freaking billion times already) and that's why I'm pro Albert(damn again, he is so hot). (((And yes, I admit I said "JUST CHOOSE ALBERT" a million times when Candy was in Chicago)))
But, you know...... It's just..... Elenor Baker, the secret, the harmonica, their times together, their development of character, their tears, their struggle to meet, and their exceptional countless chapters.. Candy and Terry have too much things to overlook and it's just just made me think, What was all of it for?

I didn’t end up reading the whole manga (too much heartbreak) and tbh I don’t fancy Alberto candy.. like he seems more of a father/ big brother figure to candy than a lover.
Also this is just something I read somewhere one time. But I heard that the author of candy candy actually wanted terry and candy to end up together. But the editors wanted something else. (Basically i read that the ending wasn’t really the authors view of her story) (you should google it tho cuz I’m not completely sure)
there was just not a sliver of chemistry between them. They even traveled together and work together and never anything, just sooooo blah. Kind of like "ok I'll marry this one, whatever"
Nearly 1000 chapters, countless christmas, countless new years, and they are still in the same year? Even though Conan happen to encounter one case everyday, it should have been 3 years!!!

I know right, even in those case that Conan encounter, the season change everytime. so how in the world, he is still in first grades? LOL
This manga is really sad in many ways. Like how real Light is and how the crimes went back to how it's used to be before Kira appeared, but most of all, when Light lost his memories, I just can't stop wondering what they could have been if it's not because the death note.

It's good, especially the main plot and the last one. But I can't bear Shibata's naivete, after all he's gone through, it's just in the end, all i can think is how real Katou-kun and shinjou are. They're right. That's how it works in real world. I thought this manga will be a story of Shibata realizing how the world works at some point but nah
