The topic of rape being brought up in stories in omegaverse is an interesting phenomenon. If both parties are not acting rationally bc it’s the content of omegaverse (I.e having ‘animal instincts’), is it rape on both ends? It’s just like two people getting drunk and then fucking. Because both of them were under the influence and ended up having sex, would it still be considered rape? If both of them regretted having sex w each other, would it be rape on both sides.

I very much agree. I would also like if this discussion deepen more. Especially in abo setting, people get confused and kinda misunderstands the actual concept. Not justifying any sort of "rape" even in this type of plot, I just think that people who actually live in that setting accepts it naturally because they understand more than we do.
But again the idea of "rape" is still the same. We cannot say we have to forgive them because of the excuse "animal instinct" and we can't punish them blindly either. So in the end as you said, I also I think it's about how the two person involved interprets the whole situation or how they feel after. Did they regret it or feel such anger towards the other person?
