I agree. also the one thing I dislike the most in this community is that people victim blame and then say shit like "they're just a fictional character", the story is showing what it's like to be a victim of abuse and people have zero empathy. makes me think they'd react that way irl too saying shit like "well it didn't happen to me" which is sad and scary.

Tbh it feels like everyone is so desensitized to stories with heavy themes like sexual abuse and its lowke concerning sometimes. Like yes that is a fictional character but that is what someone in real life might also experience so a little empathy towards this situation won’t kill u lmfao. Alas what can you do, some people are just dicks

I agree, also what's worse is there's a lot of underage people that are reading these stories so now the new generation is getting desensitized to these topics instead of learning about them properly and that makes me even more concerned cuz they think it's okay since it's just a "fictional story". like I know there's no way to monitor what people are reading but I find it worse that people in their early teens are reading stories they probably shouldn't be. and yeah there's a lot of rude people that read stories and say shit that makes me mad cuz of how insensitive people can be.

Yah, kids will always find a way to read stuff that aren’t meant for children. I mean, myself included bc when I was younger I read so many things that were not directed at children but I didn’t give a fuck. I think it’s how they take it in tbh. You can’t stop them so all you can hope for is that they’re hopefully self aware enough to not excuse such behaviors irl even if they consume the fictional aspect of it all. But I mean… with the way some of these people act and not just children, but grown adults…….. it’s concerning.

I don't think that's weird, honestly if minors are on here and the adults in their life aren't educating them then by all means the internet might as well hold them accountable for their actions, if they're gonna say gross shit and act like it means nothing cuz they're desensitized then the people who know better should at least put them in their place and learn something about what's morally right and wrong.

Yes lmaoo. Like I said, children are way smarter than people think and they know 99% of the times that it’s wrong to victim blame or willfully ignorant towards sensitive topic. IMO, I think their age is completely irrelevant when pointing out the oddity in their behaviors of victim shaming and such. Both the adults and minors are weird in this case bc they all should know better than to act like that
