Idk why they are so concerned about the age since he repeated on year this means that he’s less than 2 years older than her it’s just that he became 18yrs old earlier in the year than her becoming 17. To explain better:
The girl is born in November 2006 and the guys is born in March 2005.
If the school year is 2023 then when they start in September he’ll be 18 while she’ll still be 16.
The age gap is less than two years logically.
