He actually was mentioned but his introduction was brift. He was just a background character, not an important character. His role ended when he loosened Edith's rope during the kidnapping arc. Unlike the manhwa, in the novel he exited the moment he fled with the necklace Edith gave him as payment for helping her. And he was never an important person, he was just a poor commoner/orphan who became a mercenary to help the kids at an orphanage.

He helped edith and later he gave the necklace to killian when they found him and told killian what he told edith as in which direction she should go to escape.

Exactly, if I remember correctly after Edith's health improved they immediately move to that territory.

They actually has change away lot from the novel already. I don't know how they'll make it work, but they have change alot from the novel, and i realized the moment they gave killion's parents and the princess more screen time and redemption and took away Killion screen time from saving his wife from the kidnapping arc thats when i noticed shit would've been change. I guess the only reason why i stuck along so far was to see Reeze punishment but even that wasn't so content. So is about time for me to drop this manhwa. But y'all enjoy reading it.

Reeze punishment come to quickly than the novel. I hope they will not change it to mL being given the title of a duke instead of his brother.

Yes it did, and basically it was the same ending for her with the exception that the duchess didn't suffer from depression which made her not wanting to socialize and duke didn't became an alcoholic like they did in the novel before Reeze was sent away.
And >.< I'll be so pissed off if they make ML take tittle of duke!!.. That totally would minimize Edith hard work for their new territory which grew bigger and well known than killion's parents dukedom in the novel. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
