The fact that the words “best choice” what was bothering him the most...he knew that it meant best choice for family...they should have made it clearer to each other that they fell in love with each other.
Also the husband should have known the the style of the duchy family was proving one’s worth through hard work. You usually do backup research on the people you associate with and what they value. So why would you not let her have things that she could make decisions on and fully support her.
I think what was making it so uncomfortable was that they were loving the IDEA of each other, but not actually looking at each other and talking. Even though the husband was already starting to, he expressed it poorly

But at the same time he could have just asked the alpha if he loved him. Also...it’s kind of unfair to ask reprimand the alpha for not confessing his love and treating him like an object (which I admit the alpha was treating him like a favorite sex toy ) when the omega himself hadn’t confessed his feelings either and dictated what HE wanted.

(i didn’t mean to vote) but i don’t think the omega not saying how he wanted to be treated or a actual reason to being treated like that. it has literally been shown that the alpha basically gives a rat shit about the people he dates, and i doubt he would listen at all unless he was smitten in the beginning. the omega has every righty to be pissed about being treated like an object because he WAS ! normal relationships aren’t like that.

He did. But how many people/sex partners had them say they like Keith. He said I like you, but they needed to have a full sit down conversation about what that meant for the both of them. Fully defining their relationship and what each wanted from the other, what would make the other happy, angry, or sad if they were to do certain things. (Like “id be upset to see you with another person, so stay by my side and let me take care of you”) the omega just assumed that would happen but Keith is a butthole and is shortsighted bc he doesn’t know how to have a serious relationship and uses people like rag dolls.

Tbh I wish the omega just confronted Keith about their relationship and told him he was sad to see Keith be with another person and that he was tired of being treated like an object with no feelings. He clearly realized in the hospital that there were indicators that Keith was in love with him.
